Wounded

The bitterness of words

     can hurt like a cold knife

          placed into your back side.

Some people hate 

     for the simple reason

          just to have someone

               to hate.

Lift up your head and smile.

     For you are made in the image

          of God, the master builder of the 

Universe.

To all those whom can relate,

and know how hard life can

truly

be.

Time does heal a soul that has been wounded.
