free
life has conspired
to steal my voice.
do i take turmoil in stride
even as my weakness
turns my walk to a stroll?
wavering, savoring
the moment i felt
the breeze speak to me,
soft, stroking my cheeks.
the trees sway as i do,
constrained to the moment
yet free.
